
A partner-based event for everyday athletes seeking a challenge.
Whether you’re a seasoned lifter, a cardio junkie, or just looking for a new challenge, this is the event for you.
On Saturday, 9th May, our community will gather together at Ardrossan Community Sports Hub to take on The Summit.
The Summit is split into three parts — each one designed to test a different side of your fitness, strength, endurance and determination.
Why Enter The Summit?
Do it together – grab a training partner, motivate each other, and celebrate the win side by side.
For everyday athletes – no elite qualifiers here. This is about challenging yourself, no matter where you start.
Community spirit – join like-minded people, compete hard, and then relax knowing you’ve taken on something epic.
Waves start at 7.30am and there are 4 team slots available every half hour running until 2.30pm.

👥 Format: Same-sex pairs, or mixed pairs – you decide
💷 Cost: £40 per team

PART 1 – STRENGTH (3 rep max)
Both partners have 25 minutes to score a 3-rep-max for both lifts
– Back squat
– Strict overhead press
Followed by recovery time
PART 2 – CIRCUIT
In order, complete as many rounds as possible of the following:
Ski trainer (calories)
Walking lunge ball carry (metres)
Hand release press ups (reps)
Sled push (metres)
Med ball sit up & pass (reps)
I-go-you-go (IGYG format) changing as often as you like
Ascending ladder
Round 1 – 10 of everything
Round 2 – 20 of everything
Round 3 – 30 of everything
And so on until 25 minutes is up
RECOVERY TIME (5 Minutes)
PART 3 – CARDIO (25 minute time cap)
As fast as you can, complete the following:
10 syncro chest to floor burpees
3km bike erg
10 syncro chest to floor burpees
2km rower
10 syncro chest to floor burpees
1km treadmill run
The bike, row and run sections are IGYG – changing as often as you like
