In conjunction with North Ayrshire Council’s employability programmes, the Sports Hub are helping parents improve their career prospects by helping to introduce them to training and education programmes.

If you are a parent in North Ayrshire who falls in to the following criteria then you qualify for training opportunities.

We can help you find opportunities, and North Ayrshire’s employability programmes will cover the cost.

• Rope Access
• 360 Excavator
• HGV Class 1 & 2
• SVQ Early Years
• Personal Trainer
• Beauty Courses

Our very own in-house coach, Ryan, has recently used these to get additional training towards his Personal Training Certificate.

If you are a parent who lives in North Ayrshire and you fall in to one of the following criteria, then we can help:

• Lone parent
• Parent with a disability
• Child with a disability
• Parent aged 25 and under
• Minority ethnic parent
• Parent with 3 or more kids
• Parent with your youngest child under 1 year old
